Christmas market

I've been busy preparing this years Swedish Cristmas market in Milan were I had a stand for the 2nd time.

The market was a great success!

Soon I'm preparing to put out som objects in my Etsy shop!

Getting ready for christmas

I just finished and delivered my first batch of cardholders ordered as christmas presents. Since I also got a new order today I'm about to get ready for the next. Please e-mail me if you are intereted in prices or other details.

Leone Jacket for the autumn

I really enjoy sewing jackets, even if it's many years since I made one last time, but now I'm back on track and I've just finished an autumn jacket. Hopefully we'll still see some good weather here in norhern Italy so that I'll get use for it before it gets too cold.

The pattern, called Leone Jacket, is from a fabulous book by swedish designer Jenny Hellström. I'm very pleased with the fit and I'm thinking that a colorful spring version of the same jacket is maybe not such a bad idea after all...

Up and runing on Etsy

Vickys Lappar is now up and runing on Etsy.

Apart from what I have ready made and up in the shop I now accept Chistmas orders on mini wallets and bookcovers. I will post more info on the blog within short!

Cooming up soon

The first part of the year has been full of not so exciting things as renovating and moving houses, and as a consequences having two houses to take care of now. More exciting was that I bought myself a new sewing machine, an Elna, in celebration of my new sewing room.

As usual we had a 3 month long summer vacation as well, most of it which we spent between relatives spread out over Europe. 

Since the beginning of this month I'm finally back home, I've started sewing again and I'm just finalizing the last details of my Etsy shop which I plan to open within the next few days. Today I had a photo session in our back yard, enjoying the good weather, but less the mosquitos biting my ankles.
